We are psyched to welcome back Night Vapor to NYC. The band, from Pittsburgh, PA, contains valued SGG operatives known for their work in post-doom/industrial/noise-rock unit Brown Angel and no-wave grinders Microwaves. Night Vapor, however, navigate an unfamiliar terrain, which we’ve described as something like Black Flag playing Captain Beefheart songs whilst possessed by the spirit of ZZ Top. Eh, maybe.
Local support shall be provided by Mike Mare(Dälek, Destructo Swarmbots, Anguish), Wilful Boys(“As brutal as the Cosmic Psychos, maybe a bit smarter” – Tony Proccacino), & Marc Edwards Slipstream Time Travel, the “afrofuturistic free-jazz” unit helmed by one of our all-time favorite players, the inimitable Marc Edwards himself.
